USG and adenoid hypertrophies
‘We use x rays for calculating/visualizaing the extent of adenoid hypertrophy in children. What if we used ultrasonography (USG) instead?’
This is what I was thinking to myself today. And guess what, someone already sort of has.
This paper was published in 2020 and they measured adenoid hypertrophy with help of USG.
This paper was published in 2017 and it used USG to measure tonsillar volume.
I wonder what will it take for us to shift completely to using USG for assessment of adenoid hypertrophy?
(Yes I know, the posts are getting shorter and shorter.)
Any ways, let me know what you think.
Until next time.
